The Veteran
Winsome Sinclair is a casting director with over 20 years experience. Starting out as an intern on the Spike Lee film, “Mo Better Blues”, she turned that experience into a thriving career as a casting director, producer and motivational speaker.
She has worked with noted film makers such Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg, John Singleton, Oliver Stone, and Lee Daniels.
Notable film credits include “Amistad”, “Malcolm X”, “Shaft”, “Inside Man”, “Cadillac Records” and “Push: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire”, to name a few.

The Quiet Storm
Jason Lampkin has close to 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. His company Lost Generation Films produces, directs and edits hip hop documentaries, as well as provide consulting on various projects.
Notable credits include “Crooklyn”, “The Kings of Comedy”, "The Inside Man", "When the Levees Broke", "Miracle at St. Anna", and countless music videos and commercials.

The Artisan
Joanna Rodriguez is a makeup artist with over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Her work has appeared in various forms of media from music videos, commercials, print, runway to film and television.
Notable credits include MTV’s Video Music Awards and TRL, as well as working for top artists such as Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga. Her work has also graced the runways of award winning designers such as Donna Karan and Michael Kors for Fashion Week in New York. |

The Philosopher
Theron “Tee Smif” Smith is a self-proclaimed jack of all trades with over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry. Tee has worked as producer, director and writer in every facet of the business. His Brooklyn-based production company, The Kings County Cinema Company, has a client roster that includes Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, VH-1, Def Jam, and Universal, to name a few. From interning on Spike Lee’s film “Clockers” to cinematography on Jay Z’s “Fade to Black” to producer on BET’s The Deal, Tee has seen and done it all.
Notable credits include films such as “Amistad” and “Summer of Sam”, and shows such as BET Style and MTV News.

The StoryTeller
Akilah Shedrick has been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years writing and producing for reality TV and coordinating music events. As MTV moved from videos to reality programming, Akilah made a successful career as a story editor and writer. With upcoming screenplays underway she is the next urban cinema storyteller to be watched.
Notable credits include MTV’s Making the Band II, the Video Music Awards, MADE, The Shop, Blowin’ up Fatty Koo, and I’m with Rolling Stone. |

The Prodigy
Jamel “Mel City” Thornton started in the entertainment industry when he was 17 years old as an intern on Spike Lee’s film “He Got Game”. Though only an intern, Mel City was the kid who wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. His attitude, approach, and keen sense of both creativity and detail, has quickly propelled him through the ranks from an eager intern — to the leading producer/director he has become today.
His company Mel City Entertainment produces reality TV projects, music videos and documentary series. In Fall 2008, Mel City Entertainment forged a vanity partnership with VTA Atlanta (the largest production facility in the Southeast region) to become the premier, one stop shop: specializing in film, television, video production, closed captioning, editing, color correction, audio production, scoring, voiceovers, media marketing and branding.
Notable credits include Showtime At The Apollo, “Love Goggles”, Model Mission, MTV Sports, “Unique Whipz”, BET's Top 25 Countdown, Runs House’s, and countless music videos. |

The Brain
Cherisse Gardner Sexton is the alchemist that holds the team together with her film experience and organizational skills. For over 5 years she worked with Winsome Sinclair & Associates as a casting associate and office manager. Since then she has worked as a marketing associate for a leading brand strategy and design firm. With her passion for television and film along with her knowledge of marketing and development, she is the glue that binds this team together.
Notable credits include “The Best Man,” “Amistad,” “Summer of Sam,” and “Shaft.”
