Mark Bixler

Mark started a career in broadcasting in November of 1983 after he graduated from the International Broadcasting School or what is now known as the International College of Broadcasting in Dayton, Ohio. He started college, attending Ohio University in Athens, Ohio as a Journalism Major with a minor in English Education. He also has attended Edison State Community College in Piqua, Ohio and Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois. Mark has worked in Alabama, Indiana and Ohio and currently works as News Director at 94.1 BYS and Q98.1 in Canton, Illinois near Peoria. He worked with Fox News' Sean Hannity when Hannity was just beginning his career as a News/Talk Host at WVNN in the Huntsville, Alabama market. Mark has been doing news and sports most of his career in radio broadcasting which will be 40 years this November. Mark also has worked in video since 1989 with a video production company specializing in sporting events. God called him to ministry in August of 2021. Although he continues to do some video work with hosting a Daily Devotional Podcast, he closed the video production company at the end of December in 2021. In February of 2022, he founded Legacy Media Group along with Michael McMillion. Mark is also an ordained pastor through International Living Waters Ministry based in Canton, Illinois. He also became a Chaplain through the National Certified Chaplain Association. Mark currently resides in Lewistown, Illinois.
