I want to introduce myself. My name is Mark Bixler. I am a co-founder and the Executive Director and President of Legacy Media Group. Legacy Media Group is a multi-faceted ministry. We are also a 501 (c) 3 Public Charity. Our Mission Statement is "To Make The Name Of Jesus Christ Known Throughout The World". We base that on Mark 16:15.
One ministry is that of Christian Internet Radio Stations. We currently are streaming GodTalk Christian Internet Radio. It is a Christian Talk and Education internet station. Also there is a second Faith Talk Internet Station called TalkingJesusAndSports Internet Radio. It has Sports Talk Programming that is Faith driven. We will eventually be adding up to six additional music driven Christian Internet Radio Stations. The formats will range from Gospel/Christian Jazz, Southern Gospel, Praise & Worship, Classic Contemporary Christian, Christian Hip Hop & Rap and Christian Rock. A Second Ministry is a street ministry. It is called Kingdom Life Ministry, "Taking the Gospel of Jesus to the Streets". We are doing that by holding Prayer Walks in communities and also witnessing to and praying for those we come in contact with while doing the Prayer Walks. We have also started to go to Truck Stops and Rest Stops to pray for and with those in the delivery inndustry. Whether they drive a semi, a straight truck or a cargo van. We also pray for those who are simply traveling and making stops at those places. We also will eventually hold Bible Studies at the Truck Stops.
We are trying to raise funding for day to day operations through donations. We would like individuals, churches, businesses and organizations, whether they are for-profit or non-profit to consider donating $10 monthly. Those making a donation will be included on our website as a Friend of Legacy Media Group and Partner In Christ and also would go into a cart on each of the Christian Internet Radio Stations that would rotate throughout the day. A second way is for churches, pastors or individuals that would like to record a half hour program that would air on GodTalk Christian Internet Radio or TalkingJesusAndSports Internet Radio once a week. We are suggesting a $50 monthly donation for that. In addition to the sermon/program airing on GodTalk Christian Internet Radio or TalkingJesusAndSports Internet Radio, your church or name would also be included in the cart on each of the Christian Internet Radio Stations that would roate throughout the day.
